An inspection of space shuttle Atlantis’ thermal protection system, or heat shield, will be the main focus of the STS-132 crew on Flight Day 11. The inspection is to detect any damage to the orbiter’s heat shield by debris encountered in orbit. Weather permitting, Commander Ken Ham, Pilot Tony Antonelli and Mission Specialists Garrett Reisman, Steve Bowen, Mike Good and Piers Sellers are scheduled to land at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center on Wednesday.
